A House Update

“This week was amazing for, not just me, but all of secondary school as a whole as we, The Phoenix House, hosted 2 events. Our annual tradition of Spikeball and Dodgeball tournaments.

The first event took place on Wednesday, in which classes 6-8 competed in teams of 7 for a prize of 100 Housepoints! The event started off with the Unicorns playing versus the Dragons, in which the match came down to the wire, but the Unicorns ended up being the stronger side by winning the game in the dying moments. After that, the Phoenix played the Dragons, in which the Phoenix came out victorious by a massive margin. In the finals, the Unicorns played the Phoenix in which the Unicorns ended up winning after making an unbelievable comeback to win the prize of 100 HP!

Our next event, a Spikeball tournament, for classes 9-12, took place on Friday. On this day, even though it was very windy, the show went on. To kick off again, The Unicorns played the Dragons, and in that match, the Dragons came out victorious by a handful of points. Then, the Phoenix played the Unicorns, which turned out to be a total blowout as the Phoenix went on to win by a massive margin of points. And, to conclude the week of wonderful Phoenix events, the Phoenix played the Dragons in the finals, in which the Phoenix won the tournament for a 2nd year in a row to take all the marbles, earning 50 HP!”
