Ancient River Civilizations
Class 6 have been studying Ancient River Civilizations. We have learned about the culture, economy, and political systems of these civilizations, as well as the major achievements they made. We have also been learned how two of the major world religions originated in these areas at that time, Hinduism in the Indus Valley and Judaism in Mesopotamia. We then learned how they developed into the five major religions.
The students then went onto research and present how each major religion creatively celebrate their festivals. What a wonderful way of understanding how these ancient civilizations and religions have shaped the world we live in today, and how their legacies still influence us.
