Class 3 Get Their Hands Dirty

In Class 3 we have been looking back into the past and comparing what life is like now. All of this work is based on our IPC unit ‘Do You Live Around Here?’ First, the class looked at different images, maps and satellite images of Brussels and Antwerp now. Later on in the lesson, we then took a look back at images of the cities from the 1950s and the 1920s. We then wrote a short report based on what we found. In our Art lesson, the class looked at different prehistoric cave paintings and then had a go at creating their own.

We also investigated different shelters made from natural materials. The class went outside and gathered different materials from the playground to work together as a team to build a model of a shelter.
