Early Years Foundation Rockets

For the past few weeks our class has been looking at different types of art.  We have cut out shapes to make spirals like Henri Matiise, we have listened to inspiring music like Kandinski and have made patterns in the style of TInga Tinga art from East Africa. To name but a few.

The children experienced art as not only painting but were also introduced to sculpture, photos, mobiles, optical illusions and cubism!

Here are photos of our artists at work.
