Global Perspective(GP) is a subject in which you explore the world around you as well as understanding other countries, religion, culture or identities. In a global perspective we look at some issues which are going on around the world and try to figure out the cause, consequence and solution for that issue.
For our group project we choose the topic Human Rights. In Human rights we decided to look at one specific topic, Freedom of Speech. We choose this topic because it is a topic which involves other countries’ opinions as well as their rights. We decided to make a survey and a website which includes our research on freedom of speech.
In our group project we researched a lot, not only did we do a lot of research but we learned new things as well. Some of the key things we learnt from this project is how covid-19 has affected freedom of speech, the origin and the main meaning of free speech. Before we started this group project we, as a class, had a debate whether freedom of speech should be restricted or not. We then later found out that freedom of speech is not the problem, and decided to inform people about it.
Furthermore, for this group project we had three heads who were in charge of their department: planning, design and research. students who were in these departments had equally distributed the work and handed in the work when the deadline was near. This is the technique which we used to make our website and survey look amazing.
Here is the link to our website.
When you first open the website you will see our front page which has A youtube video, which you can watch for further explanation for freedom of speech. On top of the front page you can also see the different pages with the different topics within freedom of speech, and to get to the different pages just click on the names, of the different topic, on top of the front pages. To switch between the different pages just click on the names.
