Happy Earth Day everyone! 22/04

Happy Earth Day everyone! 22/04 ??? As the Early years Rocket class teacher, I am so proud of my students who have been working hard to take care of our planet. We have been learning about recycling and pollution, and how important it is to do our part to keep the earth clean and healthy.

The children have been busy recycling egg boxes and jam jars into plant pots, and we have planted vegetables and flowers to help the environment. We even simulated an oil spill polluting the sea in our water tray, and the children used sponges, cotton wool and spoons to clean it up and rescue the animals. This was a great way to teach them about the effects of pollution and how difficult it is to put things right.

It’s amazing to see how much the children care about the earth and how enthusiastic they are about making a difference. Let’s all do our part to take care of our planet and make it a better place for future generations. Happy Earth Day! ??? #EarthDay #Recycling #Pollution #Environment #EarlyYearsEducation #MakingADifference

Kind regards, Mrs. Harwood.
