PRIMARY ART Bob Van den Broeck

by: Bob Van den Broeck

As an art teacher I stand for creativity in and out of the art classes. I believe it is very important that students from all age groups have the opportunity to express themselves in a creative and artistic way. Creating beautiful and impressive artworks does not only help the students to believe in themselves as rich and meaningful individuals but it also helps them to think and act in a more creative manner. Helping the students learn how to use and develop their creative capabilities is one of the key aspects in the art classes.

In an ever-changing technological modern world, creative thinking and problem solving will be an indispensable skill all students should learn how to develop. This is why art is a valuable subject in a student’s curriculum.

We already did some amazing projects this term in Art with class 4 & 5. Therefore I would like to invite you to the art website of the school. I made this website specifically to celebrate the successes of the students. I maintain and upload the website on a regular basis and whenever a project is finished I upload the artworks. The primary users of the art website are naturally the students but one of the main reasons I made the website is the fact that the students can share their successes easily with parents and friends. So please enjoy:
