Senior Science Class

The students in C9 and C10 have been exploring physics concepts in their coordinated science course.

C9 have been learning about motion, forces and energy. One of the areas they investigated was exploring the density of regular and irregular shaped objects.

C10 have been learning about electricity. They investigated how to create different types of circuits and the impacts of these arrangements on how the circuit functioned.

The students in IB science will next week embark on an interdisciplinary project where they conduct an investigation to look at both biology and physics concepts to build their understanding and group work skills.

Prior to this, C11 Biology have been working with DNA, genetics and inheritance and C11 physics have been exploring astronomy.
