The Start of Something New – Class 1

Class 1 has been learning all about the brain. They dissected a jelly brain and discovered the functions of the brain. This is helping them to learn more about themselves and how they learn best.

This week, Class 1 celebrated International Peace Day On Wednesday. We discussed what the term peace means. Some of the answers that the students came up with were “it means that you have to help others”, “it means to share”, “it means taking care of each other”. They recorded a special song ‘light a candle for peace’. Check out the YouTube video below:

I am looking forward to leading the Student Voice this year. The meetings started this week. This term’s representatives are Meredith & Darsh (Class 1); Zeba & Ishaan (Class 2), Aadhya & Advik (Class 3), Joel & Aleigha (Class 4) and Nabhya & Adwita (Class 5)! We are cooking up something exciting! Stay tuned for more information coming in the next few weeks!
