Carnival & Valentine’s day – Class 3

The students of class 3 celebrated their friendship the week before carnival break. Everyone had to pick a card with a name on it (with their eyes closed!). This name would be the person they had to create a special Valentine’s day card for. They were so excited! The children presented their card in front of everyone and it was heartwarming to see what kind messages they all wrote to their friends. They were all pleased to receive such nice friendship cards and they gave each other a big hug to thank one another.

We had so much fun during our carnival party! We started off with a little parade around the classroom, striking poses on our favourite song. We also held a little photoshoot on our stage to capture these wonderful memories. In the afternoon the children received a booklet with different English and mathematical activities linked to carnival and they could even choose a mask to decorate. We ended our day celebrating by playing different board games and enjoying eating our yummy snacks. Thank you for sharing all these yummy treats with us! The children had a great time and it was the perfect way to start the holiday.
