Class 1 & Class 2 Collaboration Project

We are excited to inform you that our classes are collaborating on a very special project. As part of the IPC units: ‘Our World’ (class 1) and ‘On Tap’ (class 2), we are working on The Water Project, which involves raising funds for a charity water project. Our goal is to support a charity called Sebac in Nepal that works towards providing access to clean water to communities in their country. This project consists of 4 phases.

  • Phase 1: Learning about our Water Project, Water scarcity, water pollution and that not everyone is fortunate enough to have access to safely managed water.
  • Phase 2: Community Engagement (outside of ISBe). Students presented their work to extended family & friends. They decide whether or not they want to support our initiative and donate to our cause.
  • Phase 3: Our Fundraiser Day at school which will be on Friday 9th June.
  • Phase 4: The donation to Sebac.

The students have completed phase 1 & 2 and we are excited to start work on phase 3.

It is important that we continue to teach our children about tolerance, patience, empathy and morality so that they can grow up and lead with kindness, respect and morals. Giving them the opportunity to make a difference will hopefully engrave the belief that we can always make the world a better place as long as the intention is there – no matter what our age.

How can we help you
