Class 4 Fun with IPC Brainwaves

Class 4 has had a fun and engaging start to the year; jumping right into our first IPC unit called Brainwaves. For the entry point, students paired up and taught a skill to another student, keeping in mind planning a lesson, materials, and the ways their partner likes to learn. It was a cool and challenging activity that gave students a lot to think about in terms of how our brain works to help us learn and grow!

Throughout this unit we covered anatomy of the brain, metacognition (learning to learn), growth mindset, strategies for improving memory, and more. The IPC unit exit point culminated in a Primary Assembly presentation made entirely by Class 4 students. They explained everything clearly and had some fun examples to show. Well done Class 4!
