by: Mrs Harwood

Early years have been busy celebrating lots of events over the past few weeks. We have enjoyed learning about Diwali and making diya lights to add a festive atmosphere to our classes as we read stories about how families celebrate this special day. Just recently, in preparation for SInterklass’ visit, we constructed steam boats like the one he uses to sail from Spain in, bringing us speculoos, chocolate and mandarins. We had great sticky fun decorating gingerbread houses this week which we used as our table centre pieces for the Christmas party.
