First Week in Dutch

This year I have got to know the new class 3 students and they have settled in very well! They are currently learning about different animals and I was impressed with how quickly the students got to know the vocabulary! They have enjoyed singing and dancing to the animal song ‘De dieren in de dierentuin zijn los!’, which is a song about animals who have escaped the zoo. They also started to learn how to conjugate the verb ‘hebben’ (to have) using the different personal pronouns in Dutch, which was challenging, but they loved it! The students in class 4 and 5 have been showing their best efforts too. They are ready to learn more complicated concepts and I am appreciating their hard work and eagerness! Goed zo, primary!
