Full Power! – Class 5 –

As we continue to explore various subjects in our ongoing units from IPC, Class 5 is excited to bring the electrifying world of electricity to your attention today.

Safety First- students looked at pictures and successfully identified potential electrical hazards. They discussed how electricity powers their favourite gadgets, enables them to communicate through devices, and illuminates their homes. They also explored renewable energy sources like solar and wind power to show how electricity can be generated sustainably.

Students discovered the basis of electricity through a series of experiments. They role played the movement of charged particles, such as electrons. They also made circuits, and tested a variety of conductors, and insulators.

They also experimented with static electricity by rubbing a balloon against their hair and observing how it attracts small objects like paper bits and gets stuck to a wall.

Understanding how electricity works and its importance in our daily lives is not only fascinating but also a valuable life skill for children to develop.
