Home Sweet Home in IPC – Class 3
What makes a house a home? What do humans need to make them feel happy, safe and secure in their homes? Do animals and plants need the same as us to survive and thrive? There were some of the questions that were put to Class 3 this week as we began our new IPC unit: Do you live around here? As a starting point, we designed and created our own survival habitats and shelters for different conditions or places in the world. The children had some great discussions about what was vital to survive in these conditions and how they could adapt their shelters to battle against some of the environments they were placed in.
