Introducing Daniela Restrepo Galean

Dear parents,

My name is Daniela Restrepo Galeano and I am very pleased to introduce myself as the new math teacher for classes 6, 7 and 8, as well as the science teacher for classes 6 and 7.

During my early degree program, I developed an interest in teaching, and I have since held positions as a science teacher and teacher assistant at various institutions. I consider myself to be an enthusiastic, curious and creative teacher. I employ a flexible teaching approach in the classroom that acknowledges and prioritizes the changing needs of students.

One of my greatest passions outside teaching is science. I have a Master in Science in Oceanography and a Bachelor of Science in Biology. For this reason I believe in the power of inquiry-oriented lessons that allow the students to make real-world connections through investigation.

Aside from my interest in academia, I enjoy cycling, hiking, reading and spending time surrounded by nature. I am thrilled to be part of the ISBe community and am looking forward to creating a rewarding learning experience.

Warm regards,

Daniela Restrepo Galean
