Introduction – New Class 2 Teacher Wynne Buckner

Dear Parents,

It is a pleasure to introduce myself as the new Class 2 teacher. My name is Wynne, and I am excited to join the ISBe community after the half-term break. Next month, my husband, Christophe, and I will be relocating back to Belgium with our daughters, Nora and Eloise.

I hold a Master of Education in Early Childhood Special Education and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. Since beginning my teaching career in 2014, I have worked in various international schools in Brussels, Seoul, and Frankfurt. My goal as an educator is to nurture both academic and emotional growth by fostering problem-solving skills, a love of learning, and a strong sense of global citizenship.

I am particularly passionate about outdoor education and inquiry-based learning. Students in my classroom can look forward to an active, hands-on approach to learning that encourages curiosity and engagement.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors with my family. I am eager to get to know your children and families and work together to create a positive and enriching learning experience.

Warm regards,
Wynne Buckner
