ISBe Pumpkin Carving Competition 2022

The 2022/2023 House competition season has officially started! With Halloween approaching, Thursday 20th October was the perfect time for there to be a pumpkin-carving competition, and the teachers of ISBe rose to the challenge! At first break, Unicorns, Dragons and Phoenix teacher teams carved and decorated their pumpkins with energy and enthusiasm in the 20-minute time slot allocated to them. The school students played their part by supporting their House teachers with excited shouts and chants which made the school playground come alive. It was really a tough job for the judges to choose a winner; the choice being between a glitter-vomiting Unicorn pumpkin, a phoenix-inspired Phoenix pumpkin, or a smoke-emitting dragon Pumpkin. Ultimately, Dragons attained first place, winning 100 points for their House. Well done Dragons! It was a successful event, and we look forward to many more! Go Phoenix! Go Unicorns! Go Dragons!
