Primary Section – Dutch Lesson

The students were excited to be back in school and to start with the Dutch lessons with their new teacher. It was great to see lots of familiar faces again! Children who I have taught in preschool and primary school were suddenly in my Dutch class. We did lots of ‘getting to know you’ games. They loved the one where they had to stick a post-it note on someone’s forehead. On the post-it note they had to write the name of a classmate, so that the person who needed to guess, could ask questions in Dutch about appearance and hobbies. Each class had to create their own Dutch rules on a Slides presentation. When it was finished, we printed it and signed it together. It was a great start of the school year and I can’t wait to see the student’s efforts and excitement during the next lessons.
