Student Voice
As the new academic year dawns upon us, there is an air of excitement and anticipation at our primary school. Last year, we embarked on this journey, and the success we achieved has paved the way for an even more promising year ahead.
Last year, the Student Voice organised the unforgettable Halloween Festival. But the success didn’t stop there; we also engaged in fundraising efforts to support Student Voice initiatives.
We then utilised the funds to enhance the indoor experience for our students during rainy days. We have acquired an array of exciting indoor games that will keep students engaged, entertained, and active while the weather outside refuses to cooperate. Our aim is to ensure that no rainy day is a dull day at our school.
This week we started our search for the next Student Voice members. Through classroom discussions, we have been encouraging students to explore the ideas of leadership and civic responsibility, imparting valuable life lessons in the process. These discussions have ignited a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm among our young learners, encouraging them to take an active role in shaping their school community.
This week marked a significant step in our journey as we conducted interviews with the top 2 boys and 2 girls from each primary class. The interviews were an opportunity for them to share their visions and aspirations for Student Voice and how they plan to contribute to the growth and well-being of our school community.
We will announce the top 2 candidates from each class, who will join the Student Voice this term. It’s a moment of great anticipation as our school community comes together to support these young leaders in their journey towards making a positive impact on our school.
We look forward to nurturing the voices of our young leaders, empowering them to shape the future of our primary school.
