The Primary Section Stories – 14/01

Dear Parents and Carers,

We were delighted to welcome the students back into school this week. As usual they all arrived with a smile and a chirpy ‘Happy New Year’ Greeting.

I hope you all had a good Christmas break and were able to get out and about to visit places and get plenty of fresh air and exercise, as these things are so important for our overall well being.

The students have engaged in their learning straight away and are already back into the swing of things. It is very cold outside at the moment and classrooms are well ventilated, so please ensure your children can wrap up warmly when necessary.

Some of our students participated in the Maths and Science Olympiads over the holidays and we are looking forward to seeing their fabulous results. We will be undertaking our second year of ISA tests in classes 3 to 9 to gather some comparative data for our students. This will indicate their progress over time and how we compare to other similar International schools.

I would like to wish you all a very happy, peaceful and healthy year ahead.

Very best wishes,

Sharon Short

Head of Primary
