The Primary Section Stories – 17/05/2024

Primary Newsletter 17/05/2024

Dear Parents and Carers,

Last week was only a few days so there is not much to report but this week has been full on again.

Wednesday was a house event ‘Crazy Hair’ day and of course all of our students went all out with their hair colours, styles and accessories. The house teams grouped together at lunch time for a house pride event and cheered themselves hoarse for their house.

Then on Friday it was ‘twin day’ where students dressed in the same or similar clothes, and once again the students and staff pushed the boat out. We had triplets, quintuplets and even some decuplets! Well done to all of our students and their families for supporting both events.

Today class 3 presented their assembly to the rest of primary. It was all about the human body and the students had researched themselves and decided what information they wanted to share. They created their slides and then talked about them. They were very well informed, spoke out nice and loudly and finished off with a dance and song that we could all join in with. Well done Class  and Ms Jenny.

We have had two young interns start in our Early Years department. They will be here for 5 weeks. They are native French speakers so they add another dimension to our school experience.

We have lots of events coming up, so keep an eye on the class newsletters. Especially our international day on May 25th. It is a long weekend so enjoy the extra day and we will see you all on Tuesday.

Read about what is going on in class 4 HERE!
