The Secondary Section Stories – 07/02/2025
To our valued parents and ISBe community members,
I hope this message finds you well. I am pleased to report that the IGCSE and IBDP mock exams have been progressing smoothly. Our students have shown remarkable commitment, teachers are currently in the process of marking their work and providing constructive feedback. This feedback is essential in preparing them for their official exams, ensuring they receive the support needed for success.
Our Student Council organized an engaging Spirit Week that truly invigorated the school community. The enthusiasm from our students was infectious, and it was heartwarming to see their participation in various thematic activities. The positive atmosphere created during this week was a joy to behold, and I extend my gratitude to everyone involved in making it a memorable experience.
If you have not yet ordered school photographs, please do so at your earliest convenience to ensure you don’t miss out.
I am also delighted to welcome two interns from ITESS University in the Netherlands, who have joined us in the Humanities and English departments. Their contributions are greatly appreciated, and we look forward to their positive impact on our school community.
Looking ahead, next week, Class 7 and their homeroom teachers will be spearheading ‘R U Okay Day’, a meaningful initiative focused on promoting well-being and support among our students. I look forward to seeing the impact of their efforts.
Additionally, I kindly remind all Class 8 parents to attend the IGCSE zoom information session on February 10th. This meeting will provide vital information regarding the IGCSE curriculum and expectations, ensuring that both students and parents are well-prepared for the next academic phase.
Thank you for your continued support.
Warm regards,
Tala Issa
