A major focus at the moment has been students and teachers preparing for International Day this Saturday. Students are excited to share with you some of cultural aspects of the country they have been investigating. There will be lots of food, fun and performances so we hope to see you all there.
Both IBDP and IGCSE students are now busy with the end of program external exams. It is both an exciting and rewarding time as they demonstrate their depth of understanding and level of skills. Middle school students will take part in three days of block exams next month from Tuesday 13 – Thursday 15 June. A schedule for this will be available soon.
It has been a really long winter but we are starting to see signs of warmer weather on the way.
As such, I would like to remind you about the dress code for secondary students. While we don’t have a uniform, we still expect students to dress in a respectful and appropriate manner that is conducive to learning and the activities they undertake e.g. no excessive jewellery or make-up/ clothing – no t-shirts with inappropriate slogans, ripped jeans, exposed midriffs, thin straps or cut away singlets/ Shoes need to be sensible and appropriate for activities, like science labs & PE.
