The Secondary Section Stories – 23/09

It seems that summer is gone and the weather has suddenly turned cold – we just hope the sunshine stays a bit longer.

As class 6 settles into the new routines of middle school, the rest of secondary have jumped into the new academic year with confidence and enthusiasm. We continue to welcome new students to our community, one in class 8 and two new girls into class 10. During the next few weeks, we are still expecting a few more additions. The secondary school student population continues to grow strong in numbers and diverse in cultural background.

The last few weeks we have been focusing on student leadership in our school and selecting the students who will fulfill these roles.

This year saw a record number of student applicants for student council and we are pleased to congratulate the following successful candidates:

Primary liaisons – C5 – Nabhya & Adwita

Middle school – C6 – Lein  & Mila / C7 – Nathan, Nayonika  & Jasmine  / C8 – Nivaan ,

Senior School – C9 – Shivaai , Kadi  / C10 – Mahi , Annisha , Kashvi , Rahul , Ksenija  & Hari  / C11 – Isabelle , Joshua  & Amrit / C12 – Archit  & Natasha.

Now student candidates from class 10-12 are planning their campaign to run for the positions of President and Vice- President.

Student Leadership roles as House Captain or Vice Captain have also been well contested and I am pleased to announce the following winners for this school year:
