It was fantastic to see so many people here for International day: parents, students, staff, friends and relatives. With student performances and also dances from the visiting embassies, it was a fun and entertaining day. A large number of countries were represented and we were able to experience other cultures and their traditional food. A great community event!
This week students have also been involved in the LAMDA exams for the first time. We have a number of talented students who are developing their performance skills and being assessed to gain official certification. Well done and thanks Mr Jonathon.
Our senior students from class 9 to 12 enjoyed our last online career panel for the year. The speaker was able to inspire students to reflect on how they deal with challenges and building resilience. We hope the series of workshops this year have encourages students to think about their future, consider a variety of pathways and to reflect on the skills they need to develop.
This is a timely reminder for our class 11 and some 12s who are currently doing their internships. It is a wonderful opportunity to see possible careers in action, start building a network and putting skills into practice.
The year is really going quickly and there is still much to do before we finish.
