The Secondary Section Stories – 30/04

It is great to see some sunshine and warmer weather as it encourages a positive outlook for staff and students. I enjoyed seeing students posting photos and information about the fun and challenging activities they were doing over the recent break to keep themselves active and entertained – they have become very creative.

Since we returned, teachers and class 10 students have been busy arranging their school based assessment plan following the recent cancellation of IGCSE exams due to covid. They are now offsite on a study break and begin re-sits and assessments on Wednesday 5 May.

As part of their PE curriculum, class 7 and 8 choreographed and performed dance routines. Teachers viewed and voted on the best group. Students did a fantastic job, and teamwork and determination showed through. Congratulations to the winning group performance – C8: Heet, Navya, Hari & Anish and C7: Kadi & Aditi.

Our students are producing some remarkable work in art and you should check out the website to see what is being produced. The corridors around the school showcase some of the most recent artistic techniques and artists students have been exploring. Please check our school arts website.
