A Fond Farewell
As this academic year comes to a close, so too does my time at ISBe. I will be moving on to a new professional opportunity, and this will be my final newsletter message to our school community.
We have finished the year with a string of wonderful events which I am sure that the students have enjoyed and I hope they have shared their experiences with you. ISBe is truly a wonderful school and students do have the best learning opportunities here.
It is difficult to put into words what this school has meant to me. Being part of this community has been both a privilege and a pleasure. Every day, I have been inspired by our students, whose enthusiasm, resilience, kindness, and achievements continually remind us why education is such a rewarding profession.
I would like to thank our parents for the trust, support and partnership you have shown throughout my time here. A strong school is built on strong relationships and I have always appreciated the way our families have worked alongside us to support every child’s growth and development.
To our dedicated staff, thank you for your professionalism, commitment, and unwavering focus on doing what is best for children. The care, expertise, and passion you bring to your roles each day make this a truly special place to learn and work. I have been fortunate to work alongside such talented colleagues. I have relied on you and learned a great deal from each of you.
While I am excited about the opportunities ahead, leaving is not easy. ISBe has been an important part of my life, and I will take with me many wonderful memories of school productions, sports days, celebrations, trips, achievements, challenges overcome, and countless moments of joy shared with students, staff, and families.
As I look back, I am proud of all that we have achieved together. More importantly, I am confident that the school’s future is bright. The values, culture, and commitment to excellence that exist within this community will continue to ensure that every child is supported to thrive and succeed.

Thank you for the kindness, support, and friendship that you have shown me during my time here. It has been an honour to serve this community, and I will always look back on my years at ISBe with great affection and gratitude.

I wish all of our students and families a happy, restful summer and every success for the future.
With warmest regards,
