Secondary Newsletter – 29/05/2026

To our valued parents and ISBe community members,

This week has been filled with a range of meaningful experiences and opportunities for our students, reflecting the vibrant and engaging environment within our school community.

A highlight of last week was the University Fair for students from Class 9 and above. The event provided students with the opportunity to explore a variety of universities and pathways for their future studies, helping them gain valuable insight into different academic and career possibilities. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Ms Tamara, our University Counsellor, for organising this important event and supporting our students as they begin to think about their future choices and aspirations.

We were also delighted to enjoy the Class 8 music performance, where students showcased their hard work, confidence, and musical talents. It was wonderful to see students performing with such enthusiasm and dedication. A special thank you goes to Ms Nichols for her guidance and support in preparing the students and helping create such an enjoyable experience for all.

This week also marked the completion of the IBDP examinations. We would like to congratulate all of our students on reaching this important milestone after months of dedication and hard work. We wish them the very best of luck as they await their results and look forward to seeing the next steps in their journey. We would also like to express our gratitude to the teachers who have worked tirelessly in supporting and guiding students throughout the examination period.

School spirit and student engagement continued through our House presentations and the Unicorn event, “Kick the Cups.” These activities brought excitement and energy to the school while providing students with opportunities to collaborate, participate, and strengthen connections across year groups. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm and positive participation from our students.

As always, we look forward to continuing to create opportunities that encourage learning, participation, and a strong sense of community for all our students.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

Warm regards,

Tala Issa
